This year, the library received funding from the Parent-Teacher Association to launch a reading reward program, with the aim of encouraging students to read more extracurricular books, thereby cultivating their reading interest and habits.
-
The method involves borrowing books, completing a reading report (250 words or more in Chinese, 100 words or more in English), filling out a record card, and submitting the report to the librarian for grading.
-
A maximum of 5 points can be earned for completing a reading report. A total score of 100 points earns a gold award, 80 points earns a silver award, 60 points earns a bronze award, and 40 points earns an excellence award.
-
The list of students who win the gold medal will be posted on the library's "Reading Leaderboard" for three years as encouragement and recognition.
