Interdisciplinary Learning Courses
The world faces many complex and challenging problems. Our students must be able to combine expertise from different fields and solve diverse problems in innovative ways. Therefore, interdisciplinary learning is designed to include challenging learning scenarios in real-world environments and requires students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to think about and solve problems.

English and Science Curriculum

The interdisciplinary collaborative curriculum between English and Science has been running for over a decade. Science teachers explain the theories and concepts of the topics, while English teachers teach relevant English vocabulary and skills. Students then present in groups during class, allowing them to appreciate that English is an important medium for daily life and can be applied in various situations, thus promoting learning.

Interdisciplinary learning courses in personal, social and humanities disciplines

Junior secondary students in Life and Social Studies (Economics), Geography, and History explore the development of sustainable tourism from the perspective of World Heritage. Through discussion, analysis, and experience, students analyze and understand the knowledge taught in class from multiple angles, and understand the connection and integration of knowledge between subjects.

High school elective physical education and interdisciplinary courses in English

The physical education department uses the e-learning software Nearpod to teach English vocabulary related to healthy athletes. In high school elective physical education courses, some classes are even taught entirely in English, allowing students to utilize the classroom setting to apply English and enhance their English skills, laying a solid foundation for future public examinations.
